This blade started as a bar of 1084 — a steel prized for taking a keen, durable edge. It was forged to shape at the anvil, normalized three times to refine the grain, then hardened in oil and tempered by hand. The convex grind is tough enough for batoning and field dressing yet thin enough to slice cleanly. The stabilized walnut handle is shaped to fill the hand and fitted with a brass guard that will patina beautifully with use.
Built for hunters, campers, and anyone who wants one knife that does everything well. Field dressing, food prep, wood work around camp — this blade was made to be carried and used, not displayed.
